There is no question that Senior Master Instructor Ashie has developed a solid reputation in his specialized field of Explosives Detection.

After teaching advanced classes to multi-military forces in Kuwait, Berlin, and London - SMI Ashie was awarded with honors and letters of commendation for his exceptional work.

Recently, Ashie was offered a seat in an United States Army Special Forces Cadre Instruction class.  SMI Ashie has secured two seats, in addition to his own, at the generosity of the military detachment he previously served.

"It's a week long class about how to apply value and motivation to instruction."  Ashie says.  "It's basically a class that teaches good instructors to become great instructors, employing the education from the best instruction in the world - that of the Special Forces."

When asked if the class involves canine, Ashie explained "No. It's purely a teaching class full of techniques and proven methods that will make everyone better."

Ashie has invited SMI Aycock (Virginia) and MI (Bates) Florida to attend the class with him.

"It's all classroon but I am thrilled at the opportunity.  I'm just excited to be visiting so the class is that much greater." SMI Aycock said.

When asked about ASCT taking a military approach to education and training for law enforcement, SMI Ashie said "It already has really.  ASCT has adopted a number of programs and techniques from military forces - over the years. But I do think we will see some stronger influences, following further development."

SMI Aycock states, "ASCT doesn't stand still.  We never will.  It's all about growing - educationally - in every direction. Ashie has brought a ton of military theory to the ASCT structure.  He has been a major part of everything we do and the classes we teach.  This is one example of his seriousness.  We are all excited about what's to come."
